Could Campaign Finance Reform really be applied to blogs? You bet your ass it can.

Me, I'm an American. Here's my answer:

The World Just Changed, Again

Tuesday, 25 Jan 2005

Check this out - you can now use Google to search TV shows! They compare your search string to the close-caption text.

This search will keep some bloggers amused for hours. This search is not only a stand-alone case study in media bias, it also yields today's Quote Of The Day, from the series Desperate Housewives:

It's like my grandmother always said -- an erect penis doesn't have a conscience. Even the limp ones aren't that ethical. This is half the reason I joined the NRA...

(Getting back to the media bias part... Ms. NRA later takes a friend shooting, and of course it results in a bloody gun accident. Just a typical day for us Neanderthal gun owners).

Presumably, this database is only going to grow, and when it does it's going to make yesterday's media criticism look like a day at the beach. Gentlemen, start your engines!

Quote Of The Day

Thursday, 20 Jan 2005

We are led, by events and common sense, to one conclusion: The survival of liberty in our land increasingly depends on the success of liberty in other lands. The best hope for peace in our world is the expansion of freedom in all the world.

OK, One More Dog Movie

Monday, 17 Jan 2005

The Wife and I decided to get some nice photos of our dogs. A professional was consulted.

They look pretty calm, don't they?

What could possibly go wrong?

Is the movie too small, or taking too long to load? Just right-click on the movie to set your connection speed, then reload this page. Help
Can't see the movie at all? Try this.

Never let anybody tell you it's easy:

Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Tom

Lucky for us, a real professional can make just about anyone look good.
